GRAMMY-nominated Remixer and world-renowned DJ/Producer, MORGAN PAGE announces new tour date on his “In the Air Tour.” Named after the lead single from his upcoming album (and his 5th consecutive Billboard Dance Radio Top 10), the tour launches Oct. 6 and runs through January 2012.
Page has said that the song “In The Air” is about capturing the excitement of being in the moment, and the tour will deliver just that with enhanced custom visuals an array of special guests as Morgan performs “In The Air” and previews other tracks from his upcoming album.
The single, a collaboration between Page, Sultan + Ned Shepard and BT and featuring McCluskey on vocals, has exploded since its debut. Since its release, the “In The Air" single has been a mainstay on the iTunes and Bearport sales charts, and gained heavy support at radio, entering the Top 10 (#9) on the Billboard Dance Radio Chart last week and remaining the highest rated record at AOL Radio. Coming in October will be an EP of the single featuring several versions of the track along with remixes by Hardwell and Hard Rock Sofa.
This is not Page’s first appearance on the charts, but his fifth consecutive Top 10 Billboard success. Believe--Page’s 2010 follow up to Elevate, which featured break-out single "Longest Road" and fellow chart topper "Call My Name"--continues to be a fixture on the iTunes Dance Albums chart with two Top Ten Billboard Dance Hits: “Fight For You” and “Strange Condition.
To date, Page’s work has garnered two Grammy nominations. First the Deadmau5 remix of his song, “The Longest Road feat. Lissie” was nominated in the Best Remix Recording, Non-Classical category in 2009 and Page’s own remix for Nadia Ali’s “Fantasy” received the same nomination in 2011. He has also received three International Dance Music award nominations.
